What is the Warrior’s Wheel?

The Warrior’s Wheel is an exciting journey of growth and discovery designed especially for young adventurers aged 6 and above. Imagine embarking on a quest where each month brings a new challenge, focusing on powerful themes like Peace, Discipline, and Focus. It’s a unique path to becoming not just a great martial artist but a true warrior of life.

How Does the Warrior’s Wheel Work?

Every month, our young warriors dive into a new theme, exploring it through weekly missions that are fun, engaging, and packed with learning. These activities could include calming breathing techniques, dynamic balance exercises, creative journaling, social emotional learning (S.E.L) and much more. It’s all about growing stronger, both on the inside and outside.

Augmented Reality Rewards

After a month of exploration and learning, our warriors achieve a special milestone – they earn a Warrior’s Wheel Reward! These rewards are more than just prizes; they’re keys to magical experiences. These include interactive dioramas where you have your own little Budo the mouse Dojo and can interact with him, special amazing rewards that you have to see to believe and much, much more.

Magic in Your Hands

What makes these rewards truly enchanting is the sprinkle of Augmented Reality (AR) magic they come with. By using a smartphone or tablet, warriors can bring their rewards to life! Each reward activates a unique AR experience – it might reveal a 3D figure, play an inspiring video, or unlock interactive surprises.

Imagine watching a peace symbol bloom into a tranquil garden or a discipline token unlocking a secret martial arts lesson!

A Year of Adventure

There are 12 rewards to collect, one for each month’s theme.

The journey starts with Peace, inviting our warriors to find calmness and strength within through mindful practices and thoughtful exercises. By the end of the year, young warriors will have a full circle of rewards, each representing a step on their path to mastering the art of being a true warrior.

Joining the Quest

When a warrior completes their monthly quest, a parent, martial arts instructor, or school teacher gives them their reward for that month. These rewards might appear amazing miniature dioramas, posters, hand held tokens and much more, each carrying the promise of adventure and discovery.

The Warrior’s Wheel uses the characters from the beloved children’s book Budo the mouse and the quest for courage. This is a tale promoting positive martial arts values that children LOVE. It’s been so well received that it’s been in various newspaper and magazine articles.  We are also releasing a Warrior’s Wheel for teens and adults themed later this year.

F.A.Q

What kind of smartphone or tablet works with this book?
Pretty much any smartphone or tablet will work as long as it’s not too old. To check simply use the example on this page scan the Q.R code and if it works then you’re good to go.

Do I really need a smartphone or tablet?
Actually the book is amazing all by itself so no you don’t. A smartphone or tablet is only needed to see the Augmented Reality experiences. You can benefit from the program just by going old school and reading it. >:)

Do I need to know martial arts for the book?
No, the book is about values, principles and personal growth so no martial arts experience is necessary. (But martial arts are awesome and you should try it)

Is this for a particular style of martial art?
No, any style can benefit from the book. Budo does Karate/Tang Soo Do but the values, philosophy and principles are universal.
